与去年5月-7月份的房产数据资料相比, 夏威夷独栋房产在市场的买卖增加8.8%,公寓的买卖增加了1.7%。

 

中间价格来说独栋房产的价格增加 5.4%, 公寓的中间价格则增加了8.2%

 

由这些数据看来,夏威夷房产整体来说还是再持续攀升。

Q: Who qualifies for the home exemptions?  谁可以取得房产税豁免权?

A: 

  1. 这个房产是您主要住所    一年居住至少 270 天, 报夏威夷本地税 
  2. 您的住宅有在本地登记 9月 30  之前,如果您想取得明年报税的 房产税免税。  

 

NOTE: 请注意:  房产税免税  HOME  EXEMPTION  不代表您不需付房产税。  这个免税只是降低了您需要付的额度。   

房产税豁免 可以帮您节省多少呢?

房产税是依照政府对您的房子评估价格为基础计算出来的。   譬如说您的房子的评估价格今年是 60万 美金, 您申请了 房产税豁免, 

您可以从评估的价格减8万美金(如果您是 65 岁以下)  60-8= 52万美金     您的房产税 会依照 52万价格来推算而不是原本的60万美金。

 

房主65歲及以上家庭的豁免為$ 12萬元

 

75至79歲 140000美元
80至84歲 160000美元
85至89歲 180000美元
90歲及以上 200000美元
